We defend the human right to access the Internet as a basic tool for social action and inclusion; therefore, our network always promotes the social, solidarity and collaborative economy, and develops the information and communication society while eliminating the digital divide between rural and urban areas.

What is the Pontils Network like?
Open
The network is open to any person, entity, administration or operator who wants to access it, without discrimination.
Free
Those who connect can engage in economic, social, cultural activities, contribute or exchange content.
Neutral
We ensure non-interference of any public or private entity in the content that circulates and in the technology used.
How does the shared network work?

The necessary investment to carry out the project is obtained through many agents, including the citizens themselves, the Guifi·net Foundation and the Pontils City Council.

Making a contribution helps the project grow and ensures that the network is shared and reaches all neighbors.

In addition, this contribution allows you to enjoy a monthly reduction, and lifelong, in your monthly fee.

You decide. In the shared network of Pontils, we inform and give the option for the user to have the possibility to permanently eliminate the cost of the "line fee" which is XX€ per month, that is XXX€ every year.
If you make the donation of XXXX€, after XX years you will have already amortized the amount.
If you don't, you will pay these XX€ forever as with the rest of the telecommunications companies.
It is not mandatory to make a contribution, as long as other resources can be found or a good part of the funding from the other participants can cover the project.
It is important to know that in this way, you also help to extend the network to the rest of the neighbors in the area, making the Internet accessible to everyone and eliminating the digital divide.
HOW
You have two ways to make the payment:

Or, you have the option to do it through the SEPA mandate. We will send you the document that orders the bank direct debit in paper.
WHEN
You have the possibility to make the contribution:

Or, divided into two (XXX*2) or up to three payments (XXX*3).
In case of being divided, the payments must be made during the months following the first payment. You can make half of the payment before installation and the other half once connected.
